On September 28, Lviv hosted a fight between undefeated Ukrainian knockout artist, WBC Ukraine and Champion of Ukraine titleholder Yaroslav Mykhalushko (7(6KO)-0-0) and another undefeated boxer, Mexican Oscar Molina Espinoza (9(4KO)-0-1) for the title of WBC Interim World Youth Champion in welterweight.
On the eve of the fight the boxers successfully completed the official weigh-in ceremony, registering the following weights: Yaroslav Mykhalushko stood at 66,7kg / 147 lbs, and his opponent, Oscar Molina Espinoza, at 66,7 kg / 147 lbs.
The Ukrainian dominated his opponent from the very first round, demonstrating powerful series of punches and an unsurpassed level of preparation for the combat. Espinoza managed to get knocked down in the 1st round. After that, he tried to rectify the situation and take control of the fight, but it was difficult to achieve due to the powerful offense of Mykhalushko, who kept breaking through Oscar's defense.
In the 4th round, Mykhalushko landed a decisive series of blows - a powerful livershot and immediately after devastating left hook , after which Oscar Molina Espinoza was unable to get up until the end of the referee's countdown.
