A public figure, highly qualified professional lawyer, attorney, Ph.D. in Law. Holder of the title the “Lawyer of the Year 2021,” recognized by the Ukrainian National Bar Association in the category of corporate law.

With his team of lawyers, he won recognition in the nomination of sports law at “Legal Awards 2021,” a legal award of the year, and later became a leader in sports law according to a professional publication “Yurydychna Hazeta” (Legal Newspaper). He was declared the best in the “Litigation” nomination by the foreign rating “The Best Lawyers 2021.”

Mykola Kovalchuk is an active supporter of sports, takes part in public and political activities. Since 2016, he has been engaged in sports law. He has held the position of a member of the Supervisory Board of the National Professional Boxing League of Ukraine. For a long time, he has been a manager and promoter. He has been the personal lawyer of a number of professional boxers of Ukraine, including Oleksandr Usyk, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Serhii Derevianchenko, Denys Berinchyk, Vladyslav Sirenko, Oleh Malynovskyi and many others.
