The WBC Cares Ukraine team visited the place that educates the future of Ukraine - the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which is a modern interdepartmental, multidisciplinary, integrated military educational unit of the leading higher educational institution of Ukraine and trains professionals with a full higher education for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other security and defence sector agencies of Ukraine (Security Service of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine).
The current goal of the institute is to provide favourable conditions for cadets to learn English at a high level, which is necessary in most specialities of the educational institution, especially during martial law. The President of WBC Ukraine Mykola Kovalchuk gladly supported this initiative and presented the institute with new bright textbooks to improve English at different levels.
The Head of the Military Institute, Brigadier General Anatolii Shevchenko, together with his team of deputies, met the representatives of WBC Cares Ukraine at the highest level, conducted a tour, introduced the new specialisations of the educational institution and shared their own achievements, which turned out to be impressive! In 2023, a tremendous amount of work was done to improve the learning environment and create new opportunities for cadets, which we were able to see with our own eyes.
We are sincerely grateful for the warm welcome to the Head of the Institute, a powerful and talented leader, Brigadier General Anatolii Shevchenko, Head of the Department of Special Language Training Colonel Liliia Honcharuk and Head of the Department of Military Journalism Colonel Hennadii Nikolaichuk for the invitation.
