The first boxing tournament in the world in the underground took place in hero-city - Kharkiv, on May 13th, at the "Defenders of Ukraine" station in honor of the Heroes of the City's Defense.

There were 10 fantastic bouts between boxers of the national boxing team of Ukraine and former sportsmen - military personnel.

"I want to show with my bout that we cannot be broken, we are strong! My brother is fighting, so I understand how difficult it is for everyone now",

-  this is how Yurii Zakharieiev, 7th-time champion of Ukraine, 2nd-time world champion, 3rd-time European champion commented on his performance.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this was the first sporting event held in Kharkiv!
