"It is a great honor for me to be invited to this wonderful event today. It is a great achievement that such competitions are held despite the war. Boxing is a sport that instills in every warrior the will to win, the art of thinking and playing on the battlefield. Our soldiers are the ones whom the entire Ukrainian people are praying for today, so it is very important that the young generation strives to play sports, compete and be stronger. I wish all the participants of the tournament to show themselves worthily and have a good competition!"
The best boxers of the tournament received awards from the WBC Ukraine team for their sports achievements! We hope that this will motivate the cadets to continue playing sports, maintain their physical and spiritual development, and reach new sports tops.
"I was very happy to be a participant in this tournament. This is the second boxing championship competition at our institute, but the organization of the competition is at a very high level. Despite the small number of boxers at the Military Institute, there were at least 7 athletes in each weight category and all of them were of a high level, so almost all fights were competitive and exciting. Thanks to all the participants and all the organizers of the tournament, it was nice to see high-quality awards, famous guests and to have an atmosphere like at a professional tournament", - participant of the competition and cadet Vladyslav Dyachuk shared his thoughts.
WBC Ukraine thanks the Head of the Military Institute, Brigadier General - Anatoly Shevchenko, the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Colonel Roman Malets, and the Vice-President of the Kyiv Boxing Federation - Gennady Nikolaychuk, for supporting the physical health of cadets and popularizing boxing among young people!
