WBC Cares Ukraine - Let's do more together!

On April 1, the WBC Cares Ukraine team joined the "International Forum of Ukrainian Volunteers", which united communication between activists from all corners of Ukraine, and even the world, with representatives of the authorities.

Mykola Kovalchuk became one of the first speakers of the forum, and raised a number of topical issues, regarding the issues of volunteering:

  • the need for coordination;
  • improvement of legislation;
  • communication with state authorities;
  • platform for volunteers and others.

The representative of WBC Cares Ukraine on legal issues - Oksana Krygina, spoke about the already existing rights of volunteers, which should be taken into account when carrying out charitable initiatives.

Thanks to the hybrid format of the event, many speakers had the opportunity to speak both offline and online, which made it possible to communicate and exchange experience with many volunteers, charitable and public organizations, as well as government officials.

The main questions that interested everyone and were repeatedly raised at the forum concerned the communication of volunteers with the state, the need to make changes to the legislation of Ukraine regarding the activities of volunteers and the need to create a platform for communication between activists, charitable organizations and foundations.

Such events provide an opportunity to meet many unique people who make our country better every day. This is very important for the development of volunteering in Ukraine and improving our common future!

Let's do more together! Together to victory!
Glory to Ukraine!
