The holder of the European EBU champion title, intermediate title WBC in the lightweight - Denys Berinchyk, got up into the TOP-15 of the WBC ratings!
Denys Berinchyk (17-0, 9 KO) had his last fight on December 3, 2022. It was his 17th professional fight, in which, as a result of the unanimous decision of the judges, Denys took possession of a new title - European Lightweight Champion according to the EBU (European Boxing Council). At the same time, the Ukrainian boxer defended his own WBO International title, obtained back in 2018.
Denys Berinchyk is an active participant in charity projects of WBC Cares Ukraine, takes an active public position. During the last fight, Berinchyk entered the ring in the military uniform of the special unit of the GUR MO "Kraken", which couldn’t fail to attract the attention of the audience to the war in Ukraine.
Note that Denys Berinchyk is gaining momentum very quickly, regularly rising in the ratings. Back in September 2022, the Ukrainian boxer took 26th place in the WBC ratings.
