WBC RANKINGS: OCTOBER POSITIONS OF UKRAINIAN BOXERS
The World Boxing Council (WBC) has released its updated world rankings for October 2026. This month, several Ukrainian boxers retained their positions, while others dropped by one or two places. Danylo Honcharuk has also returned to the rankings. Here is a look at the October WBC classification and the current positions of Ukrainian fighters across the divisions.
Heavyweight
In the Heavyweight division (over 101.605 kg), WBC International Champion Andrii Novytskyi (16-0, 12 KOs) retained 10th place in the WBC world rankings.
Vladyslav Sirenko (23-1, 20 KOs) dropped two positions this month. After being ranked 25th in September, the Ukrainian now occupies 27th place.
Tsotne Rogava (13-1, 8 KOs) also moved down two spots, from 36th to 38th place.
Bridgerweight
In the Bridgerweight division (up to 101.605 kg), all three Ukrainian boxers retained their September positions.
WBC Francophone Champion Oleksandr Hrytsiv (13-0, 9 KOs) remains second in the world rankings and continues to be the highest-ranked Ukrainian in the division.
Lyubomyr Pinchuk (17-4-2, 11 KOs) remains in 13th place, while Vitalii Stalchenko (14-1-1, 8 KOs) holds 21st place.
Light Heavyweight
In the Light Heavyweight division (up to 79.379 kg), both Ukrainian representatives dropped by one position.
Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21-3, 17 KOs) moved from 18th to 19th place in the WBC world rankings.
Olympic champion Oleksandr Khyzhniak (3-0, 2 KOs), who entered the WBC rankings for the first time in September, moved from 31st to 32nd place this month.
Middleweight
In the Middleweight division (up to 72.575 kg), Fedir Cherkashyn (28-1, 18 KOs) retained fourth place in the WBC world rankings.
Serhii Bohachuk (27-4, 24 KOs) dropped one position, moving from 18th to 19th place.
Super Welterweight
In the Super Welterweight division (up to 69.853 kg), WBC Francophone Champion Maksym Molodan (12-1, 7 KOs) dropped one position.
In the October rankings, the Ukrainian occupies 29th place, compared to 28th in September.
Welterweight
In the Welterweight division (up to 66.678 kg), Karen Chukhadzhian (26-4, 14 KOs) improved his position by one place, moving from 25th to 24th place.
WBC International and WBC Francophone Champion Yaroslav Mykhalushko (13-0, 9 KOs) retained 25th place in the world rankings.
Lightweight
In October, Ukraine once again has a representative in the Lightweight division (up to 61.235 kg).
Danylo Honcharuk returned to the WBC world rankings and is currently ranked 40th. The Ukrainian had previously been included in the World Boxing Council rankings and is now once again part of the organization’s world classification.
