Mykola Kovalchuk met Terence Crawford after a historic fight

On September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the highly anticipated and historic showdown between Saul “Canelo” Álvarez and Terence Crawford took place. The fight drew a record-breaking 70,482 spectators and ended with Crawford’s victory, making him the first boxer in history — a three-time undisputed champion in three different weight divisions.
Following the bout, the President of WBC Ukraine, Mykola Kovalchuk, personally met with the new champion. During the meeting, the unique WBC Crown Series Undisputed Championship Ring, created especially for the winner of the Canelo vs. Crawford fight, was presented.
Mykola Kovalchuk shared his emotions:
“I have always said that Terence Crawford is the best boxer! And it’s not just because he’s my friend — now everyone saw it with their own eyes! Every one of his fights is like a work of art, and I am incredibly happy that he finally received what he truly deserves. What he has accomplished, no one before him has ever done.”

In turn, Terence Crawford emphasized that he has always supported Oleksandr Usyk, called Ukrainians his brothers, and said: “Slava Ukraini!”
Today, Terence Crawford is a three-time undisputed world champion in three weight divisions, and his words and support for Ukraine became a true sign of respect for our fans.
