Boxing Night in Sheptytskyi: Molodan and Hrytsiv Claim Spectacular Wins

On September 6, 2025, in the town of Sheptytskyi, Lviv region, a thrilling evening of professional boxing took place where two Ukrainian fighters — Maksym Molodan and Oleksandr Hrytsiv — scored convincing early victories, once again proving the high level of the Ukrainian boxing school.

Maksym Molodan — victory in the third round

Maksym Molodan (now 10–1, 6 KOs) faced Hungarian boxer Karoly Botos (3–5, 3 KOs). The bout, scheduled for 8 rounds in the middleweight division, ended early in the third when Molodan went on the offensive. After a precise series of punches, Botos could not continue, giving Molodan a technical knockout victory in round 3, extending his winning streak.

Oleksandr Hrytsiv — knockout in the first round

Oleksandr Hrytsiv (11–0, 7 KOs) stepped into the ring in the heavyweight division against experienced Czech Vaclav Pejsar (25–22, 20 KOs). Despite the opponent’s track record, Hrytsiv took control from the opening seconds and unleashed a sharp combination that forced the referee to stop the fight. The first-round TKO victory was a powerful statement of Hrytsiv’s strength and international ambitions.
