Venue: Merkur Spiel-Arena, Düsseldorf, GermanyWBC World Heavyweight Championship Bout (over 101.605 kg)
On November 28, 2026, Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, will host a WBC World Heavyweight Championship bout between reigning champion Agit Kabayel and undefeated Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa.
Kabayel claimed the WBC interim heavyweight title in February 2025 after knocking out Zhilei Zhang in the sixth round. In January 2026, the German boxer successfully defended his belt with a third-round technical knockout victory over Damian Knyba. He was later elevated to full WBC World Heavyweight Champion after Oleksandr Usyk voluntarily vacated the title.
For Kabayel, who holds an undefeated record of 27 victories (19 KOs), this will mark his first defense of the full WBC world title. His opponent, Nelson Hysa, also remains unbeaten with 25 victories, including 23 knockouts, and will challenge for a world championship for the first time.
