For the Danish boxer, this will be her first opportunity to compete for the undisputed championship since returning to professional boxing. In 2025, Thorslund stepped away from the sport due to pregnancy and was forced to relinquish her WBC and WBO world titles.
Following her return, Thorslund captured the WBC Interim World Featherweight title, proving she remains among the elite of women’s boxing. She now moves back to bantamweight to challenge Johnson, who has firmly established herself as the undisputed champion after unifying all four major world titles.
